Purpose: Who We Are
We are a new foundation, headquartered in Trumbull County, Ohio, that was founded in 2014 for the purpose of increasing awareness of Ovarian Cancer.
Where We Are Now
We are federally recognized as a non-profit with 501(c)(3) status. We have an Annual FORE! Ovarian Cancer Golf Tournament and are looking to start an Annual Charity Bike Ride. The money we raise goes towards funding scholarships for local high school seniors who have been affected by cancer.
National Alignment
We have been in contact with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition as well as the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. We are likely to be the only local chapter in the state of Ohio for the Ovarian Cancer Coalition and now that we have obtained 501(c)(3) status we are in the process of becoming a partner member of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.
